Can You See Us Now?

Crews have finished restriping sections of the Dallas North Tollway and the President George Bush Turnpike, and the new stripes are clearly visible, even in the rain. That’s just one of the benefits of the makeovers we’ve been doing on our tollways. Keep reading for more details.

Dallas North Tollway between Interstate 635 and Downtown Dallas –

Crews have finished replacing the median barrier on the Tollway between south of Interstate 635 and downtown Dallas. The southbound lanes between Northwest Highway and Lemmon Avenue will soon have fresh asphalt and lane stripes. The drive will feel noticeably smoother.

Crews are continuing to resurface and restripe remaining lanes and ramps. We want you to know when we’re closing lanes for the work, so we’ll post the details on NTTA.org when work is scheduled.

President George Bush Turnpike –

Crews also placed new stripes to mark the added lanes of the Bush Turnpike between U.S. 75 and State Highway 78. Those lanes will open soon, giving more space for traffic to flow.

Please be aware that, even after the new lanes open, construction crews will still be next to the road cleaning up and finishing details, like landscaping. Please drive carefully as you pass them.
