Spring is sizzling with the sound of music. After taking a magical journey from the early 20th century roots of jazz blues, you’ll feel brand new. Or, bopping to swinging beats of the 50s may be your jam. Regardless of which musical genre you prefer, there’s a live band awaiting.

  • Irving: Concert Series – This annual concert series showcases live music performances by bands from across the state. Shimmy to the Latin rhythms of Tejano and salsa bands, featuring a performance by a top Selena tribute band. Gourmet food trucks will be onsite at all shows, but guests are encouraged to bring their own blanket or lawn chair. Well-behaved dogs are also permitted. Get grooving by clicking here.
  • Fort Worth: Third Thursday Jazz Series – The Fort Worth Library’s Third Thursday Jazz Series features a dynamic lineup of local and internationally touring artists. All concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and take place at the Central Library. This marks the series’ ninth season. Catch the blues here.
  • Allen: Special Needs and Adapted Program (SNAP) Dance – Come SNAP your fingers and groove to the beat at this special needs and adapted program. Enjoy music, a fun 50s sock-hop theme and delish snacks. This event is open to ages 18 and older. Learn more here.
