The Next Best Thing to a Flying Sleigh

It’s a given that driving around North Texas takes some planning to get you where you need to go. Throw in the hustle and bustle of the holidays, and you probably feel like a Grinch on some days.

Just in the St. Nick of time, we bring tidings to raise your CommuterQ (Commuter Intelligence Quotient).

Did you know we operate eight roads that can take you just about anywhere in the region? And our roads are maintained to the highest standards.

Learn which road to take where, and you’ll be merrily on your way:

360 Tollway: Cruise through Arlington, Grand Prairie and Mansfield on the 360 Tollway. It connects with U.S. 380, which can help you avoid city traffic on Interstates 35E or 35W as you drive toward Waco, Austin or San Antonio. And, if you’re headed north from Arlington, Grand Prairie or Mansfield to DFW Airport, the 360 Tollway is your best route.

Addison Airport Tunnel: Take a shortcut through Addison using the Addison Airport Toll Tunnel. If you’re headed east or west on Keller Springs, the tunnel lets you keep on trucking.

Chisholm Trail Parkway: On a drive from Fort Worth to Cleburne? The Chisholm Trail Parkway will get you there in a jiff. And it offers a great view of the countryside.

Dallas North Tollway: Your best bet for a trek to or from Downtown Dallas is along the Dallas North Tollway. Plus, it’s an easy route to Dallas Love Field and helps you skip the interstates on your way toward Denton.

Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge: This toll bridge gives you scenic vistas of Lewisville Lake, and your trip from Denton County to the Dallas North Tollway will be smooth sailing via Swisher Road.

Mountain Creek Lake Bridge: This bridge is a convenient crossing that spans Mountain Creek Lake between southwest Dallas and Grand Prairie. When Interstates 20 and 30 are packed, you may want to take this alternate route.

President George Bush Turnpike: Ease your commute through the northern half of the Metroplex on the President George Bush Turnpike. It will swoop you all the way from Grand Prairie to Garland, with plenty of places to visit between.

Sam Rayburn Tollway: Drive from Lewisville to McKinney in minutes on the Sam Rayburn Tollway. It can also be a big part of your shortcut to DFW Airport.

Happy traveling, y’all! And thanks for choosing NTTA roads!
