Spring into Adventure

As temperatures start to heat up, so does the fun. Many North Texas communities are hard at work to bring you the best the region has to offer – so get out and celebrate with your fellow Texans!

  • Mansfield: The World’s Only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade & Palooza – In only six years, this free family-friendly event, running March 16 and 17, has grown into one of the largest festivals in Texas! The festival includes contests, races for all skill levels and ages, a vendor market, playgrounds, live music and much more. You won’t want to miss the Pickle Queens in the Pickle Parade along with floats and marching bands, all making their way through historic downtown Mansfield. Don’t miss the fun.
  • Dallas: 39th Anniversary St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival – Join a sea of green on March 17 for the largest St. Patrick’s Parade in the Southwest, with nearly 100 parade floats and 1,700 parade participants. Proceeds from the parade benefit the Greeneville Avenue Area Business Association’s scholarship fund for Dallas ISD students. Click for more details.
  • Allen: Railroad Days – The Allen Heritage Guild presents a free model train exhibit on March 17 with more than 100 model trains representing various railroads, along with a miniature representation of the Allen train depot. This event would be a great hit with the family to wrap up spring break. Learn more.
