The opening of the 360 Tollway this spring will improve the daily commutes of thousands of people in Mansfield, Grand Prairie and Arlington. To help drivers take advantage of this convenient new road and pay the lowest tolls possible, we’re telling everyone we can.

In fact, if you were watching local morning television programs in November and December, you might have seen us sharing the news. On both “Good Morning Texas” (WFAA-Channel 8) and “Despierta Dallas” (Spanish-language KUVN Univision-Channel 23), NTTA representatives discussed this long-anticipated road connecting growing communities.

The 9.7-mile 360 Tollway will have two tolled lanes in each direction, connecting Green Oaks Boulevard and Kingswood Boulevard in Tarrant County with U.S. 287 in Ellis and Johnson counties.

Share the news about the future tollway with your friends.

The frontage roads, known as State Highway 360 along the entire tollway, will remain non-tolled, because taxes paid for their construction and will pay for their maintenance.

So why must the 360 Tollway have tolls? Toll roads help North Texas bridge the gap between skyrocketing traffic growth and available financial resources. In this era of limited state funding for new highways, this important new road couldn’t be built and maintained without tolls.
