projects_pgbt fourth lane

NTTA will begin construction in the first quarter of 2015 to add a fourth lane in both directions of the President George Bush Turnpike between Interstate 35E and State Highway 78.

The 26-mile project will be performed in two phases. The first phase of the project is all lanes from U.S. 75 to the Dallas North Tollway and westbound lanes from Renner Road to U.S. 75. The second phase of the project will consist of work on the remaining segments from SH 78 to U.S. 75 and from the Tollway to I-35E. The entire project is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2019.
