Your Kids are Gonna’ Love This (You Will Too!)

Forget the bluebonnets. You’re not going to get a better photo of your kids than you will at NTTA’s Pave the Way Day on Saturday, April 13. (Did we mention that it’s free?)

Your youngsters will be amazed that the bucket is the size of a bathtub and they’d need a ladder to see the top of the tires when they get up-close and personal with a real front-end loader.

Their smiles won’t be forced when they pose for a pic next to a highway sign. (Who knew some are taller than the average man?) And when they dig into some hands-on engineering activities, you’ll probably learn something too.

Stop by our headquarters (5900 W. Plano Parkway in Plano) between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, to see big trucks and equipment that help build and maintain our roads.

Learn the most efficient way to change a tire and watch a remote-controlled mower navigate uneven terrain before checking out whether you have what it takes to be a civil engineer.

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will get a patch when they participate in the fun (while supplies last).

Stop by a food truck or Kona snow cone truck for refreshments, because your kids will want to stay longer than you think.
