PGBT Plants, Shrubs and Trees Now Call DNT home

Earlier this year, NTTA landscapers harvested many of the plants, shrubs and trees from along President George Bush Turnpike before construction got underway on the improvements project to add a fourth lane in each direction. Today, some of those plants call the Dallas North Tollway home.

Plants from Bush Turnpike have found a new home along the Tollway.

In mid-September, crews transplanted the plants at the Meaders Lane sand pile, located on the southbound side of the Tollway, just south of Royal Lane. The transfer of  the plants is part of NTTA’s sustainability efforts during roadway projects.
